Ah, I see. I've seen work along these lines before. Some have been from photo manipulation and others not. Especially the work of Scott Johnson who I've seen do this style of work in person. An amazing artist. As to whether this person is doing the actual artwork or not is hard to say in this digital age. Though I feel (from what I've seen of the work) that it is the "real deal" as they say. If it isn't, then they only one really robbed of the experience is the artist.
