Wesley, from The Princess Bride... this was done as a Christmas present for a friend of mine.

Also, this is one of the very first few airbrushed portraits I've done!

Airbrushed, filtered with diffuse glow and spotlight filter and an overlay of gaussian blur. Background textured with noise.

I love Wesley! *squee! The Princess Bride is such a good movie! He doesn't look exactly as I remembered him, but fantastic work nonetheless... Hah.. I like how the paint/airbrush you used is a bit obviously thicker, like for the hair. That'll show those jealous skeptics! :angered:
Great work!

I love Wesley too, that's why I had such a fun time doing this one. I also decided to go with a bit larger brush than normal because this didn't look quite right trying to make it look as close to the referance picture using smaller brushes. Nonetheless, I love the way this turned out.

I love the Princess Bride. That is really good, as are all your artworks. I recognised him right away...although, the title gives it away as well. ^^; Great work

Somewhere in the background, Fenrir could be heard muttering "Quit monologing already, you're wasting valuable hard drive space." (from Adventures in Babysitting, by Zoni)

oh, i love that movie! great job on the pic!

btw, have you seen Saw? the guy that plays Wesley is in it, and it's a really odd to see him in that kind of movie. his acting is a little weird, too... meh, it's still a good movie. anyway, just wondering if you'd seen it. :D

If you squint at your screen, the pretty letters look like they are dancing. Dance away, sweet alphabet! How your seductive gyrations beckon with the promise of linguistic fulfillment!
